It's once again, graduation season.

was grandly held on July 15th

at the South Campus Gym.

It marks a perfect conclusion

to the students' journey at GTIIT.

Leaders and guests attending this graduation ceremony included: Ms. Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, Israeli Ambassador to China; Prof. Uri Sivan, President of Technion - Israel Institute of Technology; Prof. Gong Xingao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chancellor of GTIIT; Prof. Hao Zhifeng, President of Shantou University; Ms. Wang Xuezhu, Vice Mayor of Shantou; Mr. Jiang Pengju, Vice Mayor of Changzhou; Mr. Alex Goldman Shayman, Consul General of Israel in Guangzhou; Prof. David Gershoni, Vice Chancellor of GTIIT; Dr. Queena Yi, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT; Prof. Liu Wenhua and Mr. Yu Hong, Vice President of Shantou University; Dr. Frieda Law, Advisor of the Li Ka Shing Foundation; as well as heads of relevant departments of Shantou, representatives of friendly units, and representatives of faculty and staff from GTIIT and Shantou University.

The ceremony was hosted by Prof. Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT, and Mr. Yigal Cohen, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director General of GTIIT.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Ministry of Education's launch of the evaluation of GTIIT construction, and is also the year of full integration of GTIIT north and south campuses. The graduates, their relatives and friends, and people from all walks of life who care about the development of GTIIT witnessed "the turning of the tassel ceremony", sending best wishes to the students' next adventure.

The ceremony kicked off

with a stirring dragon dance performance,

cheering for the sail of the graduates.

Heartfelt advice from chancellors,

deeply motivated the graduates.

Your alma mater will always

be your spiritual home.

May you go further, climb higher.

One day, we will meet at the peak.

I hope everyone can maintain a thirst for knowledge and a desire to explore the unknown, gradually forming your own knowledge and cognitive system. Keep interesting souls in the face of challenges and hold refreshing passion for knowledge in your career. Serving as a mere "brick mover" in scientific research, you can also choose to be a forever "mountaineer" climbing toward the unknow.

A touching scene unfolded at the ceremony. Chancellor Gong proposed that all graduates stand up and bow to their parents, expressing gratitude for their upbringing and teaching. As the students turned around, deeply bowing to their parents, everyone present was touched by the move.

As you embark on this new chapter of your lives, remember that you are not just graduates of GTIIT – you are heirs to a legacy of excellence and a tradition of innovation that spans across a century.

Introduction of the performance of Master and PhD graduates by Prof. Moshe Eizenberg, Dean of GTIIT Graduate Studies

Class of 2024 at GTIIT included over 100 undergraduate graduates, 9 master's graduates, and 5 doctoral graduates. The majority of them will continue their studies at world-renowned education institutions. According to incomplete statistics, 129 graduates have already received 382 acceptance letters from 90 universities and institutions. The students are bound to be pillars of the society.
