In early autumn, saying goodbye to high school life and making a fresh start, the class of 2027 freshmen of Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) ushered in their "unlimited possibilities" of university life and began a brand-new journey.

The Youth League Committee of GTIIT recently organized the General Meeting of the 2023 Freshmen League branch. The activity was hosted by Peer Mentor, and all students from cohort 2023 attended.

The meeting studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Through watching the videos, the students deeply realized that "The New Era: Great Times with Ample Opportunities". The conference set up a total of 11 new League branches; in the election of the League Cadres, nearly 80 candidates fully demonstrated the new generation of young people's vibrant youth power and youthful style through their infectious speech that showed their own advantages. Finally, 22 candidates stood out from the elections.

The Youth League branch is the "home of youth". In past activities, each branch of GTIIT has created a united, friendly, harmonious, and warm campus atmosphere by planning diversified team-building activities. For example, they launched the activity of "DIY Patriotic Theme Cake" to express the youth's love for the motherland; watched patriotic films to allow the education of party history learning deeper into the hearts of the youth; carried out the activity of love breakfast to deliver the first warmth in the morning for the students; launch the theme activity of "Cultivating Financial Quotient" to awake students' financial thinking; and organized a friendly sports match to promote mutual exchanges among students in the branch.
