As the only Sino-Israel university focusing on science and technology in China, Prof. Gershoni stressed that GTIIT built the system of science, research and education. "The undergraduates are learning basic science here, and then they are giving the opportunity to use what they have learned to make research, to advance the research and to help the professor to become better researchers. That's the idea of research university. That is what we are trying to do here," he shared his philology of education, "we give them the right soil, irrigation, oxygen and light that they need."

Connect with China, Guangdong and GTIIT
Prof. Gershoni introduced that since 2005, he has been to China for different academic conferences and was amazed by China's fast development. "The quality of science does increase dramatically. The amount of scholars and leading scientists in China is continuously growing. Absolutely the investment in science is very impressive."
Witnessing the development of China in recent twenty years, Prof. Gershoni indicated several points that really impressed him, "Chinese are hard-working. We met so many talents here. Chinese attached great importance to education. It is also impressive when we see how fast china is being changed in it if you look around. That's more or less because of the hard-working talents, the appreciation of knowledge and education."

“China is a leading country and Guangdong is a large province with land and population ten times larger than Israel. If we blend together the Israeli spirit and know-how with the Chinese talents and hardworking, I believe that this give an opportunity to fantastic achievements. This is what I am doing here. And hopefully for now, we can use the resource of all the world and develop here rapidly as we originally designed,” Prof. Gershoni extended his hope and wishes to the future of GTIIT.
