On December 29, the 8th Session of Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology's (GTIIT) Second Board Meeting was held both online and offline to review the university's achievement and performance in 2022 and give valuable advices for GTIIT's future.

Participants attending the meeting included Jiang Hong, Chairman of GTIIT Board; Uri Sivan, Vice-Chairman of GTIIT Board; and other Board members: Gong Xingao, Huang Huiyang, Aaron Ciechanover, Wang Quan, Oded Rabinovitch, and Boaz Golany. The meeting was presided over by Jiang Hong.

The Meeting approved the minutes of the Board Meeting held on July 25th, heard reports on Academic Affairs, Undergraduate Studies, Graduate Studies, Recruitments, Student Affairs, Campus Constructions and Operations, Education Foundation, etc.

Board members, leaders and guests listened to the reports, affirmed GTIIT's achievements in talent cultivation, academic research, entrepreneurship and university-industry cooperation, and expressed their appreciation to all the staff for their hard work in the past year.

The participants gathered their wisdom and offered suggestions on future planning, including accelerating discipline construction, improving the talent training system and promoting the campus construction. They hoped that GTIIT would take the initiative to cultivate high-quality talents with innovative ability, global vision and humanistic quality.
