Recently, Prof. Gong Xingao, Chancellor of Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, led a team to the Changzhou Senior High School of Jiangsu Province (CZSHS) and gave lectures to the students.

During the visit, Chancellor Gong introduced the teaching characteristics and talent cultivation system of GTIIT, which gained lots of praises from the high school. He also complimented the good performance of CZSHS graduates in GTIIT.

Later, on behalf of GTIIT, Chancellor Gong signed a cooperative agreement with CZSHS and awarded the plaque "Recognized School for Excellent Students" to the school. Both sides held in-depth communication on talent cultivation and science innovation, etc.

GTIIT has been keeping a deep relationship with Changzhou. In September, GTIIT signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation with the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) and sought further collaboration with institutes and unicorns based in the city.  As the first innovation demonstration park in China that was jointly established by the Chinese and Israeli governments, the CICP serves as a platform to technology introduction and project incubation, providing a strong boost to Chinese-Israeli innovation cooperation in the fields of life science, materials science, smart manufacturing and modern agriculture. As a model of China-Israel educational cooperation, GTIIT is the first Sino-foreign cooperative university with an independent legal entity to introduce China with Israel's high-quality higher education resources, remaining the wellspring of scientific innovation.

GTIIT Signed a Memorandum with CICP

Talent is the very first and indispensable resource to support the process from idea generation to realization. To cultivate a team of innovative talent, universities and high schools should take joint efforts. In recent years, GTIIT has conducted in-depth cooperation with well-known high schools including CZSHS, and has made positive and fruitful exploration in collaboratively cultivate innovative talents with high schools.

CZSHS is one of the first Provincial Top Innovative Talents Cultivation High Schools, while GTIIT's undergraduate education, with an emphasis on "innovation and entrepreneurship", has seen fruitful results: students have received offers world's top universities and institutions. In the coming future, GTIIT will have further cooperation with CZSHS to cultivate pioneering scientists and researchers with innovation power, global vision and humanities.
