Recently, the "Top Ten Singers" singing contest organized by GTIIT Youth League Committee and co-organized by GTIIT Student Association came to a successful conclusion on campus. After nearly two months of competition, ten advanced contestants and two popular encore singers advanced to the finals. Special thanks to the professional judges who were invited to comment on the performance of the contestants.

The contestants demonstrated their talents and presented a wonderful audio-visual feast to the audiences.

This contest upgraded the equipment and competition system. The atmosphere climaxed with the two-round pk, which also showed the courage of the contestants. 

Members of the GTIIT Modern Chinese Orchestra and Gravity Street Dancing Club, as well as one of the "Top Ten Singers" last year brought live performances. The lively and melodious instrumental performance, as well as the energetic dancing, added the diverse atmosphere to the stage.

Finally, Hu Pinqiao from GTIIT Mathematics with Computer Science Program won the championship with his soulful and delicate singing, while Xie Xueyi from Materials Science and Engineering Program, and Chen Xiaoke from Chemical Engineering Program, won the second and third prize respectively.

After the competition, students shared their feelings of standing on the stage and showing themselves. Zhang Mengqiu sang the song she performed the first time she attended the "Top Ten Singers”. "This is my last year in GTIIT, I hope I can review the happy singing time on this stage again." Zhan Suihao said that the reason he participated in the competition was to play and communicate with his friends on the stage. He hoped that everyone could enjoy the time with him.
