On the afternoon of September 19, a campus exploration activity organized by the GTIIT Youth League Committee and GTIIT Education Foundation was held at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology. The purpose of this activity is to provide a relaxing and pleasant time for freshmen, and to encourage them to meet like-minded friends, and to enhance the cohesion of the students.

In this campus exploration activity, a total of 16 games have been set up throughout the university. Freshmen are divided into groups according to their Youth League branches. The task completion time or the number of correct answers are counted as the evaluation criteria. All participants can receive participation awards while the branch with the highest scores can reap a mystery award.

Transporting water bottles without crossing the line can build up a hero who does not rely on flying over the walls alone, but counts on the concerted efforts of several friends. The standing posture like the Leaning Tower of Pisa relies on the hard work and the determination of unity.

You can't play basketball with your hands in this game. Two people stood back to back in order to prevent the basketball from landing. After a quick turn, the rest of the teammates would relay and try to complete the delivery within five minutes.

There was no badminton on the badminton court that day. Even though everyone tried their best, extremely exhausted, most of them can’t achieve the requirements of this game which is to touch the shuttlecock before falling on the ground.

Knowledge cannot be forgotten after the test. The randomly selected questions are the treasure of the teacher's wisdom, waiting for the students to show their talents. The charm of knowledge will never be out of date which shows an intense learning culture at GTIIT.

As a knowledgeable person, a few simple historical questions shouldn't bother you.

Do you know what is the spoken language used most in the world? (Be careful! English is a wrong answer.) 

Do you know when the canteen serves food? (What? I heard that you accidentally made a wrong answer. You shouldn't be wrong about it.)

At the end of the activity, all the participators sat in a circle on the ground, held the rope firmly in their hands, and waved 1,314 times. During this process, they felt the power of the collective and also marked a successful end to this campus exploration activity. 

Message of Freshman

This is an unforgettable day! As a freshman, I felt that the university’s activities were so colorful. In the campus exploration activities, we solved physics problems, did team tasks, and learned about the campus together. Although it was only a short afternoon, the revolutionary friendship of our group3 was established. I think these projects are not just entertainment or relaxation, but also let us learn how to improve efficiency by cooperation. In the event, we are aware unconsciously that everyone has his unique glittering point.
