Prof. Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT, believed that the co-construction of internship bases by university and enterprise enabled both sides take full advantages of resources and achieve mutual benefit. He proposed to adopt the "offline&online" internship mode to help students take into account both study and internship in a flexible way, so as to truly do something valuable to the enterprise.
Students visited the gene exhibition hall, learned about pathogen detection, prevention and control of genetic diseases and birth defects, cervical cancer prevention, etc. through the introduction of the guide. In the reagent workshop, instrument workshop and other operating rooms, students had a close understanding of the operation process of the production line and the operating principles of the equipment.
In the seminar, Mr. Zhao Songyuan, President of Hybribio Training and Management Institute, introduced the management and training mode of interns, as well as the development of students' scientific research activities. "We can provide funds and topics, and work with the university within the research teams which are composed of company researchers, teachers and students. This can not only meet the requirements of the university's teaching and talent cultivation, but also satisfy the scientific research needs of enterprises." They further discussed the specific problems encountered in the R&D process of the enterprise. The students also actively participated in the discussion and asked questions.
In the future, Hybribio Company will provide students with abundant practical opportunities through a series of campus information sessions and job fairs, to help students broaden their horizons and better combine what they have learned in class with practice.
