"Delivery of Functionality” (DOF 2021) is coming to the Far East for the first time! The conference will be hosted in Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) from June 17th -18th.It will be held in hybrid mode – on-site in GTIIT and online as well.

DOF 2021 is an interdisciplinary symposium about different research areas (food science and engineering, biophysics, applied soft matter, food technology, applied human nutrition) with a diverse plethora of participants (such as academia, industry and young researchers) from diverse places around the World. This year the DOF will have a special emphasis on sustainability, health, and personalized food systems.

On June 17th, the symposium will focus on health-forwarding, sustainability-focused, and personalized food systems. It has invited outstanding scholars and experts to share cutting-edge research and findings. The conference will be chaired by Prof. Yoav D. Livney of GTIIT and other distinguish professors in each session.

On June 18th, the symposium will pay special emphasis on health-forwarding food systems and sustainability-focused food systems. A new theme – Chinese Industry is added as one of the sessions, which hopes to apply theoretical knowledge of food engineering into the practice of Chinese industry, promoting the long-term development of food engineering. Today the sessions will be chaired by Prof. Harold Corke and Assist. Prof. Yigal Achmon, among others.

DOF 2021 aims to carry out academic communication, report on cutting-edge work, provide a platform for researchers to understand the latest progress of related topics, and promote international exchanges and academic development.We are looking forward to your participation！
