The 6th Council Meeting of Sino-Foreign Cooperative University Union was held at Wenzhou-Kean University on the morning of Nov 16. Participants engaged in an in-depth exchange of ideas and discussions under the theme of "the New Development of Sino-foreign Cooperative Universities in Post-pandemic Era".
It has been six years since the Union was established in 2014. The annual Council meeting aims to strengthen communications among Union members, explore issues of the common concern by sharing experiences and best practices, and promote the overall development of the Sino-foreign cooperative universities in China.
Dr. Liu Jin, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges(Office of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan), MOE delivered a speech.
Representatives from the Union shared ideas about the current situation, future development, opportunities, and challenges of Sino-foreign cooperative universities during the fight against pandemic from multiple perspectives through reports and seminars.

They said that the world is undergoing profound changes since the start of pandemic, which calls for breakthroughs in university strategy, faculty team, student recruitment, teaching feature and research innovation among the Union members.
Prof. Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT delivered a speech titled "the Development of Sino-foreign Cooperative Universities in Post-pandemic Era: Take GTIIT as an example".
