Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT attended the congress and fully affirmed the positive contributions made by the Student Association to the development of GTIIT. He pointed out that since the establishment of GTIIT, the Student Association has played an important role in strengthening ideological guidance, enriching campus culture, promoting the development of students and protecting students' interests.

He also put forward three suggestions for the next Student Association: to take thought guidance as the core; to promote the development of the Student Association with reform and innovation; to enhance the overall awareness, take the initiative and play a role as young generation. Lin hoped that students can study hard to build GTIIT and devote themselves to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Sun Xuequan, Chen Yanxi and Cheng Xueying, the new presidium of the third Student Association said that being elected as members of the presidium means that they should shoulder more responsibilities and work harder to serve students. They will unite and coordinate various departments, listen to the voices of students, strive for innovation, enliven the campus atmosphere, and further strengthen the connection between students and the university.
