The Class of 2024 embarked on a new journey of life at GTIIT this September.
To help them better adapt to life in college, a Peer Mentor team consisting of 13 students from the Class of 2023 has carried out several ice-breaking events over the past week.

From a mentee to a mentor, the change of my role gives me a chance to see the ice-breaking activities in a different light. When I prepared for the event, I was full of expectation and anxieties since it was not easy to organize an event. But fortunately, the atmosphere of the scene was active. When the ice between mentees gradually melted, I knew that we have achieved our goal. I was sincerely happy and gave myself a little thumbs-up. I hope that the new students can move on with the spirit of innovation and diligence, and create a more brilliant future.

I was nervous and awkward when facing an alien environment as a newcomer. However, the ice-breaking activity turned worry into joy and gave us a chance to meet new friends. Many thanks to our peer mentors for their hardworking. We will cherish the time to study, develop genuine skills in college.
