Witnessed by leaders of Chaozhou Science and Technology Bureau, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, GTIIT and Chaozhou Huafeng Group Co.,Ltd. held an Internship Base opening ceremony and symposium on building an industry-university-research cooperation platform recently.
Liang Guozhan, CEO of Huafeng Group Co., Ltd., pointed out that it is a critical period for the Group to transform and upgrade to an enterprise with new resources and new material. The group has an increasingly larger demand for technology improvement and eagerness for high level talents. The Group wishes to facilitate the implementation of its strategic plan by building the industry-university-research cooperation platform with GTIIT.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Lin Danming introduced that GTIIT's discipline construction focuses on environment, resources and human health, which is highly consistent with the development strategy and future planning of Huafeng Group. Materials Science and Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering at GTIIT have been listed in the “Guangdong High Level University Development Program” as key disciplines. The establishment of the cooperation platform is an important measure of fully utilizing the advantages of resources, achieving resource sharing and mutual benefits. Xu Jingyang, Deputy Director of Chaozhou Science and Technology Bureau, and Zhang Yan'an, Deputy Director of Chaozhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, fully affirmed the efforts of building the cooperation platform and expressed their full support to such cooperation.
Followed by the unveiling ceremony of GTIIT Internship Base by PVC Lin Danming and CEO Liang Guozhan, both parties had a further communication on future cooperation.
“The main direction to raise the competitiveness of China's chemical enterprises includes significant upgrade of chemical product quality and improvement of the production efficiency, specifically enhance of optimization, amplification and diagnosis of various reactors in production", said Dr. Kong Bo, faculty representative of GTIIT. Dr. Kong's speech struck a chord with the attendees and we are looking forward to the prospects for cooperation between Huafeng Group and GTIIT in talent cultivation and industry-university-research development.
